Villa Creek is a family winery, founded by Cris and JoAnne Cherry, that is known for its Rhone varietals and biodynamic practices. The MAHA Estate is on the cusp of Willow Creek and Adelaida Districts where may see sheep and other barn animals roaming the vines as natural lawn mowers and fertilizers. The calcareous soils are rich in limestone and calcium, allowing for optimal water retention and an abundance of nutrients that help maintain the grapes acidity, minerality, and create a potential for an extending aging of the wines. Villa Creek believes in feeding "the soil and vines with natural farm-made inputs, consisting of microorganism cocktails, herbal teas, and compost teas."
