Divine layers of juicy blackberry, lavender, fruit leather and cigar introduce this estate grown wine. Dark and complex, this wine is worth getting to know better.
Grown organically on our home vineyard in Paso Robles' renowned Willow Creek District, Syrah and Grenache were hand-picked on the same day to ensure only the best clusters made it into the wine. This careful selection allowed for a seamless journey from vineyard to co-fermentation, then barrel, and finally, bottle—crafted with precision by owner Josh Beckett.
Josh Beckett’s journey in winemaking began at his family’s Peachy Canyon Winery in Paso Robles, where he learned from some of the region’s most respected figures. His experience took him to Cape Mentelle in Margaret River, Australia, before returning to Paso Robles as head winemaker at Peachy Canyon. Later, Josh co-founded Chronic Cellars, gaining recognition for crafting bold, unconventional wines. In 2018, Josh planted Thibido Vineyard within the Willow Creek District with a clear vision: to create wines that reflect his love for the craft while preserving the planet. Embracing regenerative farming practices, minimalist packaging, and eco-friendly materials, Thibido is committed to reducing its environmental impact. From lightweight glass bottles to biodegradable shipping and 100% post-consumer waste labels, every detail is thoughtfully considered to minimize its carbon footprint while producing wines of exceptional quality.
