Edgar Torre's story began in central Mexico, seeking better opportunities, his parents immigrated to the U.S. when Edgar was a kid, settling in Cambria, California. Edgar pursued his passion for wine, using his savings to buy four oak barrels. Honoring his Spanish heritage, he focused on Tempranillo and varietals suited to Paso Robles' terroir. He embraces minimal intervention, letting the rugged soil and fruit naturally express themselves. From four barrels, Bodega de Edgar has grown into a thriving business and a symbol of the American Dream. Edgar's story reflects an immigrant's journey to build a lasting legacy through dedication and commitment to his values and community.
