On the palate, this is a classic expression of the varietal; juicy plums, dark berries, iron, and pepper.  The winemaker added a splash of Viogner which adds additional complexity and accentuated the floral qualities that exist in their estate grown Syrah.  When your  nose meets a glass of this Syrah, you will understand why capturing this floral quality is one of their principal goals with this grape.
