Winemaker Pourings
Every Thursday Evening from 6pm - 9pm Each week during Farmer's Market, you can taste wines with the vintners who made them. We focus on high-quality, low production wineries from throughout the Central Coast. All featured wines are 10% off for the entire week!! Wine Club Members take 20% off. September 2 Tolosa Winery Tolosa's goal is to produce a perfectly balanced wine expressing the true characteristics of each grape varietal. By carefully selecting the best fruit from their estate vineyards in the cool climate of Edna Valley they are able to produce distinctive and exceptional wines. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay make up 80% of Tolosa Wines , while Syrah and other small production varietals make up the balance. Their winery is sustainable in all aspects of the wine growing and wine making process. Stop in and enjoy these exceptional wines from our neighbor down the road. September 9 Moonstone Cellars Concieved in a basement overlooking Moonstone Beach (yes, hillside basements in Cambria can have nice views), Tood Clift and dad, Muril began making wine in 1998. The hobby quickly got out of control, and blossomed into a full time passion. Todd chucked his corporate job to become an apprentice at Harmony Cellars, just six miles south of Cambria.
Under the tutelage of a 21-year winemaker who has won over 500 awards, he worked through four crush seasons before releasing his first vintages, Todd proudly introduces his wines made from Central Coast grapes. We will be showing off his 09 Selenite (Steel tank Pinot Grigio/Chardonnay blend), 08 "Slabtown" Chardonnay, 07 Merlot, 07 Zinfandel (a lighter Zin with a dry peppery finish), and his 07 Syrah. Come join us as we're sure you'll enjoy these wonderful varietals. September 23 Brucher Wines Peter Brucher is an award-winiing winemaker who is commited to making high-quality wines at affordable prices. His wines are very popular, drinkable and an incredible value. His phosophy is a simple one. Obtain the best possible fruit, and let it determine the production techniques so as to enhance the wine's natural flavors and quality.
